While the tempature was cooler than the last few days, it still was a factor as this week's tournament had only 11 players, with 9 contributing to the pool (I beleive the Berkeley boys were scared of the heat and stayed on their side of the tunnel). Even with the small turn-out, the weather was nice and there was even a slight breeze - so hopefully we'll see more players in the coming weeks. Play got started at 5:00 P.M., and with only 3 groups was completed by 7:30 P.M.

Jesse "the kid" Wisecarver, continued his improve play with a 3 over round (net 49.9) to take first place. Brian Henderson, the proud owner of Moraga bag tag #1 shot a 49 (net 50.2) to take second place, and Brant "get 'er done" Willis took third with a 52 (net 51.2) to take third. Great shooting guys!

This week's pay-out was $16.00 for 1st, $7.00 for 2nd and $4.00 for 3rd place finishers.

With the weather heating up to record temperatures, this week's tournament had only 12 players, with 11 contributing to the pool. Although this was a small turn-out, everyone enjoyed themselves and the weather even cooled off for back nine holes. we look forward to more folks coming out (and cooler weather) next week. Gregg La Comb, playing with only 2 brand new discs, took first place with a -4 round (net 48.3). I guess the rest of his bag is unnecessary! Scott "don't call me Scotty" Hoetker finished in second place with another great round of - 3 round (net 50.64) and our TD Scott Fuller took third place with +2 round (net 51.20). Hopefully the hot scoring will continue without the hot temperatures...

This was our 11th weekly tournament and we had 21 players attend, with 18 contributing to the pools... and given the very windy conditions and Major League Baseball All-Star game on, was an excellent turn-outs. I guess people were anxious to get out and play again! Play got started very early at 4:50 P.M., and was completed by the last group at a record time of 7:40 P.M.

Jesse "the kid" Wisecarver showed off his improved distance and game by shooting a 58 (net 50.00) to take first place. Jon Bernick (who we have to thank for the paving stones on #6) continued his strong play with a -1 round (net 50.37) for second, and Scott "don't call me Scotty" Hoetker finished in third also with a -1 round (net 52.20). Great shooting guys given how strong the wind was blowing this evening!
