Warm "Weekly" results
Tuesday - May.30.06
This weeks
tournament was held in the warm May sunshine, with 19 players attend and 13 contributing to the pools. It was great to see even more new local players coming out to participate and establish a their handicap. Play got started on time, at 5:00 P.M., and was completed by the last group at 8:05 P.M.
In one of our closest finishes so far,
Toby Parks beat out the local icon
Scott Hoetker by a difference of only
.2!! Toby had a net score of 48.4 and Scotty had 48.6 - Great shooting by both of them. Third place went to
Mike Castillo who had a net of 49.3. The handicap system is doing its job and making the weekly tournaments very competitive indeed.
This week's pay-out was $22.00 for 1st, $11.00 for 2nd, and $6.00 for 3rd.
Thanks to everyone who attended for continuing to make this event such a success!Another great "Weekly"
Tuesday - May.23.06
The fifth
Weekly tournament was held this evening, 13 players attended (with 10 contributing to the pools) and it was great to see several new local players coming out to make their mark and establish a valid handicap... and hopefully win some money in the weeks ahead. Play got started on time, at 5:00 P.M., and was completed by the last group at 8:15 P.M.
Our TD
Scott Fuller won this week by shooting a nice round of 53 (-1) - a net of 47.4 with his handicap, barely beating out the great round of Jeff Fiedler - who shot a 48 (-6) and had a net of 47.6. Third place went to
Greg Randolph who shot a one over round of 55 with a net of 51.2. The handicap system is doing its job and making the weekly tournaments very competitive!! As you can see the winners were separated by less than a stroke.
This week's pay-out was $16.00 for 1st, $9.00 for 2nd, and $5.00 for 3rd.
Thanks to everyone who attended for continuing to make this event such a success!Fourth "Weekly" adds more members

Scott Fuller with a round of 58, net of 51.6, and
Scott Hoetker got third with a par round of 54, net of 52.
The handicap system is kicking in and making the weekly tournaments that much closer. It was good to see the local guys "representing" this week - way to go! The pay-out this week was $26.00 for 1st, $16.00 for 2nd, and $9.00 for 3rd.

Tuesday - May.09.06
Moraga disc golf course held its third
Weekly handicapped tournament this evening and the first using the handicap system. We had 17 players attending (and 11 contributing to the pools) which was great considering that many could only participate in the Ace Pool (because these players had not established a valid handicap). Play got started at 5:10 P.M. and was completed by the last group at 7:55 P.M.
George Ross, won this week as he shot a blistering round of 45 (WOW!) and with his handicap a net of 47.4. Second place went to
Greywing Cooper with a round of 51, net of 48.6, and our own
Dustin (aka D-Money) got some money by coming in third with a round of 56, net of 52.
The pay-out was $17.00 for 1st, $11.00 for 2nd, and $5.00 for 3rd.

Wednesday - May.03.06
Moraga disc golf course held its second
Weekly handicapped tournament yesterday, 19 players attending (and 14 contributing to the pools) it continued to build upon our initial success. Play got started at 5:10 P.M. and was completed by the last group at 7:45 P.M.
Brian Henderson, our "course pro" came back off the injured list to shoot a nice -5 round. He tied for first with
George Ross, who improved from his previous week's total to earn his share of the title. Both he and Brain split first and second place money and got $18.00 a piece.
Gregg La Comb made it to the course in time to shoot a -1 round and claim third place and $6.00.
A complete listing of all players and scores (and handicaps) will be listed on the site soon, but in the mean time you can go
here to see the final results (the link is to a disc golf stats page where you can log in and/or create a profile to keep track of your own scores and/or see this tournament results).
