Rainy Update
When is it going to stop raining?? The course is taking the rain better than us players, but is still very muddy.

A Moraga town meeting was help last night to discuss the Parks & Rec's master plan for the next 15 years, and a few disc golfers attended to make sure the Moraga Commons course (and Disc Golf in general) was represented in the plan. Hopefully this type of involvement will lead to future course improvements and a closer relationship between local players and the Parks & Rec.

Items discussed:
• Adding trash cans and park benches
• Improving tee-areas and overall drainage
• Increasing course to 18 holes

Some minor repairs have been done to the course over recent weeks as well, such as the basket on #3 being lowered to the proper height and repairing the tee sign on #4 (as well as a new broom next to it - to sweep off the new tee pad). Thanks to all involved for your assistance.
Get the word out!
The town of Moraga is holding their next town meeting on 3/29/06, from 7-9pm, at the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church (say that 5 times fast!) 1700 School Street in Moraga. One of the key agenda items will be updating the Parks & Recreation Master Plan (which has not be updated since 1980).

This is our opportunity to show up and talk about the virtues of our local disc golf course and the kinds of improvements we would like the city to consider. Please plan to attend this event, as we can use as many people there as possible. For questions, or further information, email us.
