Our lucky 13th Moraga Weekly Tournament was held on a very nice summer evening. We continued to have a number of new players (with 26 players total, 22 contributing to pools) come out and enjoy the warm summer evening. Play got started as usual around 5:15 P.M. and was completed by 8:30 P.M.

Week 13 Results

Matt "I won again" Barclay shot a one over 55 (net 50.93) to take first place, followed by Scott "the pro" Riley with a four down 50 (net 51.80). Greywing Cooper took 3rd with a nice 52, out TD Gregg LaComb took 4th with a 3 over, and Life Gibson took the final cash spot with a matching 57. Nice shooting all!

This week's pay-out was $37.00 for 1st, $26.00 for 2nd, $14.00 for 3rd and $6.00 & $5.00 for 4th & 5th place. Thanks to everyone for making our weekly such a fun event!

Chika "King of the forehard" Nii shot an awesome 5 down 49 to take 1st place - way to go Chika!! Gregg "Mr. TD" LaComb finally took home some cash with a nice par round (net 49.93) to take second.

Craig "Big Snap" Schott took third, Pete "Old School" D'Agastino took 4th and Rob "T" Nelson took 5th - nice shooting everyone!

This week's pay-out was $35 for 1st, $24.00 for 2nd, $14.00 for 3rd and $6.00 & $5.00 for 4th & 5th place. Thanks to everyone for making our weekly such a fun event!

The 11th Moraga Weekly Tournament was eventually held, thank you Chika for pitching in as Gregg L. was not available... we had 24 players (20 contributing to pools) from coming out and enjoying the warm summer evening. Play got started as usual around 5:15 P.M. and was completed by 8:30 P.M.

Week 11 Results

This was our biggest turn-out of the summer, and the Barclay's took the day with a 1-2 finish! Gulya became the second woman to win a weekly this year and shot a great round of 67 (net 50.20). She just beat out Matt (her hubby) who came in scored with a one over 55 (net 50.27) - great shooting you two!!

The remaining cash position were rounded out by Joe Olson, Geo Ross and Rob Nelson, each of which have been playing well this summer - nice going guys.

This week's pay-out was $33 for 1st, $23.00 for 2nd, $13.00 for 3rd and $6.00 & $5.00 for 4th & 5th place. Thanks to everyone for making our weekly such a fun event!

The 10th Moraga Weekly Tournament landed on July 3rd, and the upcoming holiday did not keep 16 players (15 contributing to pools) from coming out and enjoying the warm summer evening. Play got started as usual around 5:00 P.M. and was completed by 8:30 P.M.

Week 10 Results

With no woman in the field this week, the men were able to return to the top! James "O.G." Benner (one of the old school Moraga Players) came in first with a nice round of 58 (net 48.2) - nice going James! Life Gibson followed up his tie for first last week with another strong showing and a 2nd place finish (gross 53 - net 50.12).

Joe Olson and Sean Swickard round out the other two cash positions - Joe with a 61 (net 51) and Sean with a par 54 (net 51.8), nice shooting guys!!
